1. Young House Love – I found this blog about six months ago and have been a loyal reader ever since. Although they get a bit wordy at times (ok all the time), I love their quirkiness and all the fun projects they share. My husband and I are not terribly handy around the house, so I love to see how easy home improvement can really be (or not – look up their recent patio project – eek!). Who knew you could dye fabric or make tacky wood paneling look fabulous? Check out this blog – you will not be disappointed.
2. The Salvage Market – Ok, so this flea market is all the way in Flowood, MS and I will probably never be able to visit again. But I did a photo shoot with some friends there this past week (photos to come!!) and was LOVING all the stuff they have! Not only did it make a great backdrop for some funky images, the items they had were so unique and fun. It makes me want to find a great Birmingham flea market….any suggestions? Be sure to check out the Salvage Market if you’re near the Jackson, MS area.
3. E-Mealz – I don’t love to cook, so this site is a lifesaver. You choose your meal plan and store, then they send you a menu based around items on sale that week. It also gives you a little variety in your meals…we have found some great new dishes while following the e-mealz plan.
4. Clinique Moisture Surge – Best. Lotion. Ever. Enough said.
Happy 4th of July Weekend! Hope you and your family have a safe and happy holiday!
